Hospitality management company Davidson Hospitality Group has appointed Lance Tucker as CFO.

In his new role, he is tasked with overseeing budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company’s long-term strategy, developing tools and analytical systems to create value and optimize organizational performance against annual budgets and assisting in the establishment of yearly financial objectives.

Tucker will report directly to Davidson CEO/President Thom Geshay. He is also responsible for engaging the board finance, audit and investment committees surrounding trends and changes in operating models and operational delivery.

With more than 25 years of experience, Tucker holds a seasoned track record in finance for corporations across diverse industries, from restaurant franchising and real estate development to technology consulting, education services and online retail. He most recently served as CFO, CKE Restaurants Inc., where he led all finance and accounting functions for the organization. His resume also includes a 14-plus-year tenure at Papa John’s International Inc. where he ascended from director of finance to CFO, successfully implemented recurring dividends and negotiated joint venture agreements for global business.

“Lance brings to Davidson a distinguished mix of seasoned corporate leadership, financial acumen, investor savvy, strategic planning and passion for hospitality,” said Geshay. “The combined experience of our leadership team represents a breadth and depth of expertise that is unmatched in the industry. Lance’s background and personality are synergistic with where we’re headed, and will prove invaluable to our team members, property owners and investors in 2022 and beyond.”
