Cape Resorts, a regional hospitality investment and management company with nine distinctive classic American resort properties throughout Cape May, NJ and the East End of New York, has appointed Kate Harth as chief sales and marketing officer.
Harth has worked in the hotel industry for more than 30 years, and has a background in diverse and distinct markets as well as working knowledge in many facets of the varying types of hotels: boutique, resort, city, convention, mid-tier, lifestyle, luxury, independent and big chain, both domestically and globally, according to the company.
In her new role, she oversees strategic development and implementation of Cape Resorts’ national sales plan, supporting sales revenue and growth as the portfolio continues to grow and expand. From creative ideation to business strategy, she will play a key role at all of Cape Resorts properties.
Most recently, Harth worked in asset management at Fulcrum Hospitality, overseeing sales and marketing for a group of hotels. Prior to that, she was the GM of The New York EDITION, and pre-opening GM of The West Hollywood EDITION.
