InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has opened the InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue in Washington.
This 208-room luxury hotel, situated within the $1-billion Avenue Bellevue complex developed by Fortress Development, marks the brand’s debut in the Pacific Northwest.
The hotel’s design is inspired by Bellevue’s natural beauty, featuring organic aesthetics and a neutral color palette. The reception area showcases a marble front desk and an abstract mural showcasing Pacific Northwest landscapes. CE LA VI Bellevue, the hotel’s cocktail lounge, features a chandelier of hand-blown glass pieces. The property has 190 guestrooms and 18 suites and family rooms, including a 2,000-sq.-ft. two-bedroom Presidential Suite.
Positioned across two floors and connected by a sky bridge to the hotel, the conference center features 12,000 sq. ft. of versatile indoor and outdoor event space.This space offers nine rooms, including a 4,250-sq.-ft. grand ballroom and a 2,275-sq.-ft. junior ballroom.
