Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) has appointed Jessica Myers as VP, finance & accounting. In her new role, she will lead the corporate team responsible for publishing monthly financial statements.
“With nearly 30 years of hospitality accounting and finance experience, Jessica is the perfect complement to the HVMG team,” said Robert Cole, founder/president/CEO, HVMG. “She led and provided oversight for the finance teams for some of the most iconic properties in the U.S., such as the Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix and the La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs. She has successfully steered hotels, both on-site and above-property, through all phases of the economy, and we are confident she will use this expertise to similarly navigate HVMG’s portfolio.”
Prior to joining HVMG, Myers served as VP, finance for Pyramid Global Hospitality, where she led the finance teams for all the company’s branded hotels in the western region. In 2022, she played a key role in that company’s overhaul of its accounting processes, introducing new systems and staffing models. Before that, she held multi-property finance leadership roles in Houston and the Chicagoland area with Pearl Hospitality, White Lodging and Hyatt Corporation. Her hospitality journey began in 1996 as a PBX operator at the Hyatt Lodge on the McDonald’s Corporate Campus.
