ATLANTA—Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) has completed the acquisition of a two-hotel portfolio comprised of Embassy Suites by Hilton hotels in San Rafael, CA and Atlanta in a joint venture for an undisclosed sum.
HVMG also will operate the 241-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton San Rafael Marin County and the 235-suite Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Center.
“With the addition of these two properties, our portfolio now includes nine Embassy Suites hotels, one of the most respected and top performing brands in the industry,” said Robert S. Cole, president and CEO, HVMG. “…These are perfect additions to our expanding portfolio of full- and select-service hotels that can benefit from improved management and/or significant capital improvements.”

Suites provide separate bedrooms and living areas, each with an LCD TV, WiFi and a flexible work desk and sofa. Dining options include a free, made-to-order breakfast, evening reception with complimentary cocktails and the Grille 101 Restaurant. Additional amenities include a tropical atrium with a waterfall, heated indoor pool, whirlpool, fitness center with cardio and weights and the 24-hour BusinessLink Business Center with internet and printing access. The hotel also provides meeting/event space capable of hosting up to 500 guests.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Center
With a private bedroom and separate parlor area, suites are equipped with a TV in each room, living area with a sofa bed, armchair and well-lit work table, wet bar, refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker.
In addition to the complimentary, daily cooked-to-order breakfast and evening manager’s reception, guests may dine at Expressionz restaurant. There is also a full-service business center, fitness room, indoor pool and a grab-n-go convenience store.
