Hotel Brands Expand Across Asia

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Developments are underway all across Asia. A resort villa destination and business district property are among some of the recent happenings:

All-Villa Resort Now Open in Vietnam

A new all-villa resort in Vietnam, Anantara Quy Nhon Villas, has opened its doors. Overlooking Quy Nhon Bay, the property has 26 one- and two-bedroom ocean-facing villas, a signature restaurant, swim-up bar and Anantara Spa. The resort is close to Quy Nhon Airport, Phu Cat Airport and downtown Quy Nhon.

AccorHotels Expands in Japan With Tokyo Location

Pullman Tokyo Tamachi is now open, marking the brand’s first location in Japan and AccorHotels 1,000th hotel in the Asia-Pacific.

Located in Tokyo’s business district, the hotel has 143 rooms, three restaurants and bars, a gym and meeting space.

Rosewood Property Underway in Hong Kong

Rosewood Hong Kong is set to open March 17, 2019. Located in Victoria Dockside, the city’s new arts and design district on the Tsim Sha Tsui harborfront, Rosewood Hong Kong will have 322 guestrooms and 91 suites.

The hotel will also have eight dining concepts, a café, bar, lounge, wellness concept and 41,450 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting and event spaces.

In addition, there will be 186 Rosewood Residences designed for longer-term stays with a private entrance, swimming pool and fitness center.

Rosewood to Open in Taipei, Taiwan in 2024

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been appointed by Fubon Hospitality Management to manage Rosewood Taipei, set to open in 2024. The new hotel will be located in the cultural and financial hub of Taiwan.

Located in the Xinyi District, the hotel will have 191 rooms and 27 suites and five distinct restaurants and bars. Other amenities include Rosewood’s signature residential­ style meeting and function facilities, a spa, an indoor pool and fitness center.
