Hospitality America names Jon Jones VP, people and culture

Hospitality America, a third-party hotel operator and asset management company, has appointed Jon Jones to the newly created role of VP, people and culture.

“Jon’s addition is long overdue,” said Ben Campbell, COO, Hospitality America. “Our people are the core to our success and with this crucial role, we are now positioned to strengthen our employee development and recruitment, improving our operating structure and expertise, and adding value for our owners, while increasing our readiness for new management opportunities.”

Jones brings more than 18 years of experience in talent management with a focus on learning and development, recruiting and employee engagement. He previously served as director of team member experience and engagement at World Acceptance Corporation, where he was in charge of developing recruiting strategies, implementing employee engagement initiatives and creating opportunities for employee growth and development.

Jones will partner with hotel leaders and team members to ensure the best employee experience is provided at every step of the employee journey, with an emphasis on strengthening company culture through the deployment of initiatives that promote and support Hospitality America’s core values, according to the company.

“Employee experience is at the heart of every successful business, and the way we treat and support our employees directly impacts the way they serve our guests,” Jones said. “I’m committed to ensuring our employees feel supported, valued and embody our core values to deliver exceptional service to our guests and success for our hotels.”
