Hilton Adds Properties Across Globe

MCLEAN, VA—Hilton has added a number of hotels and resorts across its brands. Here’s a look at the latest:

DoubleTree by Hilton Vail Debuts in Vail, CO
A first for the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, following a complete renovation, the 116-key DoubleTree by Hilton Vail marks the brand’s debut in the city. The hotel has access to the slopes with its on-site ski rental and complimentary shuttle to Vail Village and Lionshead .

Amenities include massage treatment rooms and soon-to-open outdoor heated pool, hot tub and rustic outdoor fireplace. Additionally, by partnering with Proximity.Space, guests will be able to work, play and relax seamlessly in the lounge area, which is the first coworking space in Vail.

Dining options include the hotel’s soon-to-open premier restaurant, Pivot62, as well as Westside Café, serving casual American classics for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Casa Mexico, opened for both lunch and dinner. Guests can also soon enjoy grab-and-go offerings or room service from the Colorado Made Market.

Guestrooms feature rustic, wood walls and custom-framed prints of ski equipment patents. The bathrooms exhibit spa-like designs with back-lit mirrors, round tiles and clean lines throughout.

The property has more than 2,782 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet facilities through its three event spaces.

Owned by TNREF III Bravo Vail, LLC and managed by Widewaters Vail Hotel Management Company, LLC, DoubleTree by Hilton Vail is located at 2211 N Frontage Rd.

Tru by Hilton Touches Down in Three New States
Tru by Hilton has opened properties in Garland, TX; Farmville, VA; and Cedar Rapids, IA, marking its first hotel in all three states.

The 91-room Tru by Hilton Garland Richardson, developed by CS Euless Hospitality LLC, offers access to Hawaiian Falls Water Park, Richardson Technology Corridor and Curtis Culwell Event Center.

The 106-room Tru by Hilton Farmville, developed by Farmville Hotel Partners LLC, and managed by Kalvan Hospitality, is cluse to Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College.

The 82-room Tru by Hilton Cedar Rapids Westdale, developed by Westdale Hotel Associates LLC, and managed by Kinseth Hospitality Companies, is near the Westdale Mall complex, close to downtown Cedar Rapids.

Hilton Garden Inn Opens New Properties Across the Globe
Hilton Garden Inn is continuing its expansion into new countries and increasing its footprint in key international destinations.

New property highlights include Hilton Garden Inn Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Kenya; Hilton Garden Inn Bogotá Airport, Colombia; Hilton Garden Inn Mexico City Santa Fe, Mexico; and Hilton Garden Inn Adiyaman, Turkey.

These openings continue the brand’s 2017 momentum in which one-third of new openings were in international destinations. This included key markets such as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Manchester, England; Shanghai, China; and Merida, Mexico.

The Graham Hotel Joins Tapestry Collection by Hilton
Tapestry Collection by Hilton has added the historic Georgetown property, The Graham Hotel in Washington DC.

Highlights of the property include its rooftop lounge and The Alex Craft Cocktail Cellar & Speakeasy. The Frank Sinatra Suite, named after the rumored regular, features a 200-sq.-ft. outdoor deck that overlooks the surrounding area. From the roof down to its lobby six floors below, the hotel carries a look that is distinctly contemporary with a fresh color palette of earthy grays, cool blues and crisp whites, reminiscent of old Hollywood glamour, according to the company.

Hilton Completes Landmark Dual-Brand Signing in Heliopolis
Hilton continues its growth and development in Egypt, 60 years after first entering the country, with the opening of the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis. The leading global hospitality company has also confirmed plans for the debut of its luxury brand Waldorf Astoria in Egypt later this year—once rebranded this will be the company’s first Waldorf Astoria hotel in Africa, staking ground for Hilton as a luxury operator in the region.

Hilton has signed two management agreements with Gulf-Egypt for Hotels & Tourism (S.A.E) to operate Heliopolis Hotel & Towers Luxury Hotel under two distinct brands. A 593-room upscale Hilton property is now welcoming guests alongside the 247-room the Towers Luxury Hotel, which will rebrand as Waldorf Astoria Cairo following an ambitious renovation program. It is scheduled to be completed before the end of 2018.
