Gravity Haus, a Colorado-based hospitality management and social club, has appointed Mike DeFrino, former CEO of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, as president.
“Mike has served on the Gravity Haus board for the past year, and we share a common passion for people and community-driven brands like Gravity Haus,” said Jim Deters, chairman/CEO, Gravity Haus. “With Mike’s experience growing Kimpton for 25 years to its acquisition by IHG, he is the perfect fit to lead our next stage of growth at Gravity Haus.”
DeFrino has more than 40 years of experience, most recently holding the position of managing director of IHG Luxury and Lifestyle Hotels, Americas. Prior to that, he spent 28 years at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, serving as CEO until Kimpton’s acquisition by IHG in 2022.
