The first location for Hyatt’s new lifestyle brand Caption by Hyatt has opened on a famous street in Tennessee, while other properties have made their debuts.

Caption by Hyatt Beale Street Memphis has opened its doors, marking the launch of Hyatt’s new lifestyle brand, Caption by Hyatt.

Located on the corner of world-famous Beale Street and Front Street, the 136-room hotel offers guests a select-service neighborhood experience that sparks conversation and grounded by the people and place of one of Memphis’ most sought-after areas, the company reports.

The hotel is near signature Memphis experiences including the Orpheum Theater, the Memphis Rock n’ Soul Museum, FedEx Forum and Sun Studios. Using upcycled and community-inspired design, the property weaves eclectic contemporary aesthetics into the urban industrial history of the area. The hotel is integrated into the historic William C Ellis & Sons Ironworks and Machine Shop as part of the One Beale mixed-use development, preserving the existing riverside brick and cast-iron façade that dates back to 1879. This commitment to sustainability is reflected in the property’s layering of colors, textures, recycled materials and emphasis on community. The hotel highlights the culturally resonant artwork of local artists with an intriguing and inspiring interior mural by Frances Berry and a momentous exterior mural by Juan Rojo.

Reid Creek Lodge Debuts in WY
Wagonhound Land & Livestock Co. has opened Reid Creek Lodge, the brand’s first seasonal guest lodge located in the heart of the American West in central Wyoming.

The property features an 8,000-sq.ft. lodge with seven bedrooms accommodating up to 22 guests and one group at a time. The exclusive experience includes a personal chef, curated programming, gathering spaces and rustic mountain design. The lodge focuses on being true stewards of theWest, respecting the land and its historic roots to keep the peace and serenity that comes with its vast open spaces and grounds.

Located on a private working ranch, Reid Creek Lodge offers unparalleled access spanning 300,000acres in the heart of the Laramie Range of the Rocky Mountains. Activities offered on property are designed for guests to enjoy authentic experiences and embrace the natural beauty that surrounds them in one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations, according to the developers. The lodge’s private guides will create a customized itinerary for each group, ranging from hiking, horseback riding, fishing, skeet shooting, wildlife viewing, archery, yoga, spa services and an overnight camping experience on the property. Guests can also explore the nearby trails with an e-mountain bike or spend the day paddleboarding on one of the many alpine lakes.

Conrad Nashville opens its doors
Hilton has opened the Conrad Nashville, marking the brand’s debut in Music City.

Located in Midtown, steps from Music Row, the 234-key hotel includes 24 suites, five wellness rooms, a fitness center, three curated dining experiences conceptualized by Blau & Associates, a chic poolside retreat and 17,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space.

Capturing the spirit of Music City through design, culinary and artistic offerings, Conrad Nashville anchors the destination’s newest mixed-use development, Broadwest.

Interior design by Champalimaud Design fuses Tennessee inspirations with modern touches to set the stage at Conrad Nashville. The bold and contemporary design references the scale and flow of classical architecture while exploring the theme of music made visible through rhythm, variation and materiality. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a double-height lobby anchored by a spiral staircase complete with a satin-finished brass balustrade inspired by musical instruments.

Summer pop-up Salt House Nantucket opens
Salt Hotels, a collection of artfully designed boutique hotels with properties in Cape Cod, Miami, New Jersey Shore, the Hudson Valley and beyond, has debuted its latest addition, Salt House Nantucket, and exclusive summer pop-up.

Featuring 18 rooms, the historic-inspired hotel is situated in Brant Point, close to downtown and the beach. The fully renovated property is reminiscent of a classic bed and breakfast, with daily complimentary breakfast included, and guests will find the same exclusive amenities, intuitive service, and design inspired by local sentiments as they have come to expect from Salt Hotels.

The property is launching as a pop-up hotel experience this summer, with a full launch set for summer 2023. Next year the hotel will be debuting an exclusive members club along with additional guestrooms, a new central barn-style building, lobby, lounge and a swimming pool for the 2023 season.

Origin Hotel Austin now open
Origin Hotel Austin has opened, marking the first property to debut in Texas for the lifestyle-focused boutique brand.

The 120-room property will serve as a connector of experiences, offering well-appointed rooms and suites, thoughtful amenities and a new all-day eatery, Blue Lacy, according to the owners. Origin’s hotel operations are managed by Charlestowne Hotels.

Located near an array of restaurants, entertainment, parks and green spaces, and local attractions in the community of Mueller, the hotel features 116 guestrooms and four suites that embrace modern design and an intuitive guest experience, including the Capitol Suite with a private terrace and a skyline view of downtown Austin. Pet-friendly accommodations and specialty room types, like the bunk bed suites with capacity to sleep up to six people, cater to all traveler types.

Hometowne Studios by Red Roof opens in East Lansing – Okemos, MI
Red Roof has opened the 78-room HomeTowne Studios by Red Roof East Lansing – Okemos located in Okemos, MI.

The extended-stay property features kitchenettes with full-sized refrigerators, free in-room WiFi, HD flat-screen TVs with free expanded cable, extended stay rates, free coffee in the lobby, coin laundry and weekly housekeeping. An onsite fitness facility and free parking are also available, as well as a 24-hour front desk where kitchen kits are available for purchase for a low fee.

The hotel is close to many attractions including Michigan State University, Spartan Stadium, Wharton Center for Performing Arts, Meridian Historical Village and Capital Region International Airport (LAN).
