Hostmark Hospitality Group Names COO
Hostmark Hospitality Group has named Ronald L. Vlasic as COO. He most recently worked with Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, where he started as a GM of the company’s then two largest assets. His tenure culminated as VP of operations, where he oversaw the direct management of 22 properties and was responsible for creating and maintaining brand standards.
American Hotel Income Properties Reit LP Appoints Chief Investment Officer
American Hotel Income Properties REIT LP has appointed Chris Cameron as its new chief investment officer, effective today. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the company’s investment and capital recycling strategies, including evaluating alternatives to redeploy capital and executing hotel transactions in line with the company’s strategic plan. He’s a chartered professional accountant and has more than 14 years of experience in the hotel industry, overseeing multiple disciplines including hotel acquisitions and dispositions, debt financing and operations.
Rockbridge Promotes Todd A. Walter to General Counsel
Rockbridge has promoted Todd A. Walter, EVP and associate general counsel, to the role of general counsel. Since joining Rockbridge in 2007, Todd’s work and responsibilities have expanded in tandem with the growth of the organization. He works closely with Rockbridge’s Investment Group and Capital Markets Group to evaluate strategic options for Rockbridge’s investment funds, to develop and implement policies and procedures designed to manage risk, enhance returns, and improve efficiencies and operations, and to evaluate and structure new opportunities. Todd was instrumental in the origination and operations of RB Hotel Development, Rockbridge’s development management affiliate. He also helped lead Rockbridge’s registration as a registered investment Advisor (RIA) with the securities and exchange commission (SEC).
