Canopy West Palm Beach to Open in January

Florida’s Canopy West Palm Beach is a celebration of natural shapes, textures, dramatic interiors and eye-opening art that comes together to create the 11th hotel in The Canopy collection, designed to inspire and delight the millennial market, according to the brand.

The 13-story, 150-room hotel will include a rooftop amenity deck at the Treehouse bar and lounge. On the menu besides craft cocktails and a Florida-inspired spread? Views from east to west, a rooftop pool and lush, tropical landscaping.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Returns to the Big Easy

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants revealed a new property in New Orleans scheduled to open in early 2020. The Kimpton Hotel Fontenot will pay homage to the city’s rich musical history and the inspirational musicians behind it.

With a prime location proximate to the Central Business District and the French Quarter, the project will take an existing hotel and turn it into a 202-room property with a signature restaurant and bar and a corner café serving up specialty coffee and snacks.

MarkZeff Architecture and Interior Design and Delawie Architecture are leading the design work on the project.

Mixed-Use Tower Set for Miami

Downtown Miami’s newest mixed-use tower, Legacy Hotel & Residences, will be a branded mixed-use skyscraper in the heart of mega-project Miami Worldcenter (MWC).

Developer Dan Kodsi completed the Paramount Miami Worldcenter residential tower and its Sky-Port. Now, he aims to transform Miami’s skyline again, this time in the hospitality and branded residence market. Located at 942 Northeast First Ave., Legacy is expected to break ground in 2020 in the heart of one of Miami’s most sought-after neighborhoods.

Bringing international flair to the downtown skyline, the neo-futurism-inspired tower will feature 278 branded residences sitting atop a 255-room hotel.

Tapestry Collection by Hilton on the Way to Charlotte, NC

Pappas Properties unveiled details for the next phase of development at its seven-acre property in midtown Charlotte, NC, including a Tapestry Collection by Hilton and new office and retail space that will complement the two medical office buildings already being built for Atrium Health.

The 150-room hotel will be the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton location in the Charlotte area. Located at the corner of Kenilworth Ave. and Pearl Park Way, the new mixed-use component will offer views of Uptown Charlotte’s skyline while fronting a newly renovated Pearl St. Park and the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.
