Dorchester Collection appoints global director of sales

Dorchester Collection has appointed Arabella El Barkouki as global director of sales.

Reporting to Philip Morris, Dorchester Collection’s VP, commercial, she is responsible for leading the brand’s global sales teams, developing sales strategies to support growth and spearheading policies, objectives and initiatives across the portfolio of current and future hotels.

She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience from the luxury hospitality industry to her role. This appointment marks a return for El Barkouki to the company. She first joined the brand in 2008 and spent four years as regional director of sales for the U.K., Europe and Russia before being promoted to director of sales and marketing for Le Richemond, Geneva, which was managed by Dorchester Collection at the time. In 2015, she joined Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as head of regional sales, Europe, and held several sales leadership roles during her seven years with the company. Most recently, she was the brand’s VP, global sales partners.
