Doing good while doing business is the future

RTRX believes that businesses and leaders are looking for a more impactful way to do business and grow their network and leadership talent. The organization recently hosted its 11th annual experience in Columbus, OH, gathering hundreds of leaders from across the country to develop business opportunities, grow leadership skills and connect, learn and collaborate to advance team culture, all while investing in cancer research. The experience featured main-stage programming including speakers like New York Times Columnist and Bestselling Author David Brooks, as well as new vertical experiences in the areas of venture capital, the future of work and healthcare innovation.

RTRX takes place every August in conjunction with Pelotonia’s Ride Weekend, and all proceeds directly benefit Pelotonia’s innovative cancer research. The organization is fueled by a unique partnership between Rockbridge, Pelotonia and Columbus Partnership, and was built on the idea that businesses and leaders want and need a community that provides an opportunity to grow their business, and focus on leadership, innovation and well-being, while making a direct social investment. Growing quickly to more than 500 annual attendees, and more than $6 million invested in cancer research, the response demonstrates that businesses find value and meaning in this specially curated experience that provides a venue for doing business while doing good.

“When Jim Merkel and Rockbridge founded RTRX 11 years ago, they saw businesses wanting more. They were looking for a deeper, more meaningful opportunity to do business while developing as individuals, and strengthening team culture, all with a philanthropic component. What we built resonates. The feeling is palpable when you’re at our experience, and we have an incredible opportunity to expand and evolve to continue meeting these needs,” said RTRX Managing Director Suraj Hinduja.

As businesses look to recruit and retain top talent, the focus on providing individual development and philanthropic involvement opportunities has become a critical component in creating a healthy workplace culture. RTRX provides a fully built, comprehensive experience for businesses looking to provide this value to their teams, and drive their business with a higher purpose in mind. Explosive expansion is planned for 2023 that will further attract mission-driven businesses and individuals from across industries and sectors.

According to Hinduja, “2022 was an incredible year for RTRX, but we expect 2023 to surpass every experience we’ve provided to date. We’re positioned to expand our offerings across verticals and industries, to provide additional multi-day opportunities, workshops and exciting entertainment offerings that our audience has never seen before. Columbus will be the place to be the first week of August, and it will be an experience every business and individual will find powerful, and essential to doing business.”

RTRX 2023 is planned for Aug. 2 – 6, 2023, in Columbus. To learn more about the experience and what it can provide for your business, visit www.rtrx.co.
