DelMonte adds CIO; more personnel…

DelMonte Hotel Group has added a new CIO, Red Rock Resorts has a new leader, while Staypineapple and Jurny have people on the move.

Crawford new CIO at DelMonte Hotel Group
DelMonte Hotel Group, a hotel management and development company headquartered in Rochester, NY, has appointed Guy Crawford as chief investment officer.

In his new position, he is responsible for growing the platform through sourcing new acquisitions, developments, underwriting and raising capital. He plays an active role in management, financing and dispositions for the portfolio of hotels.

He brings more than 15 years of real estate and private equity experience to his position and has closed more than $4 billion in acquisitions, developments and financings. Prior to joining the company, he was the head of the hospitality platform at Lightstone Group, co-head of Lightstone Ventures and a member of Lightstone Capital. During his tenure, he led acquisitions, asset management and dispositions of a portfolio that included 35 hotels. Before his move to Lightstone, he was VP at Madden Real Estate Ventures.

Red Rock Resorts appoints Scott Kreeger to president
Red Rock Resorts has appointed Scott Kreeger to president of the company.

Prior to this appointment, he had been serving in the role of SVP, development since rejoining the company last September from Galaxy Entertainment Group in Macao, where he was director of operations development, new resorts from January 2018.

“Scott is the right leader for Red Rock Resorts,” said Frank Fertitta III, chairman/CEO, Red Rock Resorts. “Scott’s long history with the company, his knowledge of all aspects of our business and his proven leadership sets the company up for continued and accelerated future growth.”

Kreeger originally joined Station Casinos in 2000 and held several key senior positions in operations, property management, marketing, technology and Native American gaming before leaving to join Revel Resort and Casino as president/COO in July 2013. He remained at Revel until the sale of that property and then joined SLS Las Vegas Resort and Casino, where he was employed from October 2014 through December 2017 as president/COO.

Vanessa Bloy joins Staypineapple as director of marketing strategy
Staypineapple, a hospitality company based in the Pacific Northwest, has appointed Vanessa Bloy as director of marketing strategy.

“I am delighted to welcome Vanessa Bloy to the Staypineapple family,” said Sharon Andrade, VP, sales, Staypineapple. “Vanessa brings a wealth of marketing, communications and public relations experience along with extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry to her role.”

In her new position at Staypineapple, Bloy is responsible for developing, leading and executing strategic marketing, public relations and media planning.

Bloy began her career in marketing with the Pepsi-Cola Company. From there, she served as marketing manager for Holland America Line before joining Argosy Cruises as director of marketing. Bloy spent five years with Windstar Cruises as director of public relations and social media. Most recently, she successfully led public relations, strategic initiatives and social media as director of public relations for Paul Gauguin Cruises and has held the director of public relations role for InterContinental Resorts of French Polynesia.

Jurny adds Kevin Rohani to board of advisors
Hospitality tech company Jurny Inc. has added Kevin Rohani to its board of advisors.

He has more than a decade of experience leading operations and development for a number of hospitality brands. He began his career at sbe before joining Dream Hotel Group as VP, development and acquisitions, where he drove expansion efforts for the company across Europe, Central America, Canada and the U.S.

He later rejoined sbe as SVP, development, where he led growth in new developments across hotel, residential and culinary projects, leveraging his extensive relationships with developers and investors from across the globe. Upon Accor’s acquisition of sbe in 2020, Rohani joined as head of development to spearhead growth efforts for one of the world’s largest hospitality companies.

“Kevin has a unique understanding of the operational needs and requirements of hotel owners and operators to create a profitable business while providing guests with a superior hospitality experience,” said Luca Zambello, cofounder/CEO, Jurny. “At Jurny, we intend to scale our business massively in 2022, and we are excited to tap Kevin for his experience and insights to support our ambitious growth plans in the year ahead.”
