The Courtyard Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town has completed an extensive $12.8 million renovation to the more than 300-room property located in Old Town. The refurbishment features an updated bar, gym and guestrooms.
“This renovation brings a modern, luxurious experience to Old Town Pasadena, enriched with cultural and architectural elements unique to the neighborhood,” said Craig Ballard, managing partner, Dauntless Capital Partners, which owns property. “We are the base camp to what Pasadena has to offer—just a short walk from the convention center and steps away from Old Town’s vibrant shops, restaurants, bars and cafes.”
At the forefront of the hotel’s renovations is the bar, which serves as the central gathering point for guests and features an elevated food menu and hand-crafted cocktails. The area features a small library, workspaces and design-forward lounge furniture.
The property offers nearly 6,000 sq. ft of event and meeting space, designed to reflect both the modern and historic aspects of Pasadena’s golden era. It is located less than a mile from Pasadena Convention Center.
The hotel’s 314 renovated guestrooms and suites feature wood and leather furniture and art-deco design. In-room amenities include workstation, HDTV and free WiFi. Additional on-site amenities include an indoor fitness center, a convenience store and an outdoor pool area with fire pits and a hot tub.
