Collecting Properties: Tribute, Autograph Add to Portfolios

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel collections continue to grow. Tribute and Autograph have recently added properties to their portfolios. Here are the details:

The Merrill Hotel & Conference Center, Muscatine Joins Tribute Portfolio
The Merrill Hotel & Conference Center, Muscatine has joined Marriott International’s Tribute Portfolio. The property has 122 guestrooms. A conference center is located on the top floor and includes 14 meeting and event spaces with a total of 12,723 sq. ft. of meeting space. Additional amenities include an indoor, heated saltwater pool; lounge with adjacent outdoor patio; a large fully equipped fitness center; the full-service restaurant Maxwell’s; gift shop; 24-hour business center; and concierge services.

Braemar Opens The Notary Hotel in Philadelphia
Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. has opened The Notary Hotel in the heart of downtown Philadelphia. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the former Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown underwent a rebranding and renovation in excess of $20 million. Located at 21 North Juniper St., the property now has guestrooms and over 10,000 sq. ft. of conference space throughout 12 event rooms. It joins Marriott International’s Autograph Collection Hotels, a diverse portfolio of approximately 180 independent hotels around the world that reflect a distinctive vision, design and environment.

Now Open: Cotton House, Cleveland, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Cotton House Hotel, Cleveland, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel has opened. The property has 95 rooms and six suites along with more than 3,200 sq. ft. of private event space. Additionally, Cotton House has two premier dining destinations both helmed by Chef Cole Ellis. On-site dining options include Delta Meat Market, serving up Southern fare with locally sourced ingredients, and Bar Fontaine, a rooftop lookout serving European-inspired small plates and cocktails.
