California Dreamin’: Three Hotels Set Summer Opening

NATIONAL REPORT—From coastal retreats to a boutique in the heart of wine country, these California properties plan to surprise and delight guests this summer.

Hotel San Luis Obispo

Hotel San Luis Obispo, a retreat nestled in the downtown area of San Luis Obispo, CA is scheduled to open this August.

Among the property highlights include a rooftop bar, a 50-ft. garden terrace swimming pool and Jacuzzi, and a lobby lounge complete with the S.Low bar, fireplace, and an adjacent garden courtyard serving all-day refreshments.

The property will also introduce two new restaurants to the area led by Executive Chef Ryan Fancher, including Piadina, a fresh California take on Italian cuisine based around the wood-fired oven, and Ox + Anchor, a modern spin on the classic steakhouse.

The Setting Inn Napa Valley

Situated in the midst of two wine country vineyards, The Setting Inn Napa Valley is a boutique, historic landmark property located between Yountville and downtown Napa, CA.

The remodeled farmhouse, originally built in 1901, now has a California cool vibe with luxe interiors for the modern nomad with the completion of the renovations and rebrand on June 4.

Previously the Napa Vineyard Inn, the new Setting Inn Napa Valley is located at the gateway of Yountville and the transformation has taken place under new ownership with The Setting Wines, a company known for its record-breaking sale of one of its bottles for $350,000 in a 2017 charity auction.

Salty Sister

The Salty Sister has opened in Morro Bay, CA. It is the closest lodging property to the notable Morro Rock and offers a view of the bay from a private roof-top deck. With six individual units designed with a beachy feel and inspired amenities, this property is relaxing addition to the Morro Bay waterfront.
