Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel rebrands as Bally’s Baton Rouge Hotel

The Belle of Baton Rouge Hotel has rebranded as Bally’s Baton Rouge Hotel. The rebrand follows the recent merger of Bally’s Corporation with the Belle’s parent company, The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc.

“Bally’s brand is respected worldwide, and it’s thrilling to have a name that’s synonymous with contemporary entertainment join the Baton Rouge community,” said Richard Cannon, GM, Belle of Baton Rouge.

Bally’s signage is currently being installed on the hotel. Once the installation is complete, the sign and exterior LED displays will illuminate downtown Baton Rouge. The property will display customized lighting throughout the year to commemorate community milestones and events.

Set to reopen on March 31, the fully remodeled property will bring much-needed hotel inventory to downtown Baton Rouge. The 10-story property features 242 rooms, suites, a modern fitness center and a VIP lounge with panoramic views.

“We can’t wait to welcome guests to the new Bally’s hotel,” said Daniel Hutchinson, hotel operations director. “Every space has been reimagined to provide patrons with an elevated, luxury experience. With a variety of rooms to choose from and incredible views of the river, downtown and LSU, there’s truly something for everyone.”

The reopening marks a significant milestone in the Belle’s plans to transform a dormant downtown area into a contemporary land-based gaming and entertainment complex. Slated to open in the fall of 2025, the complex will feature 25,000 sq. ft. of Vegas-style gaming, a sports lounge, an upscale cocktail lounge, and casual and fine dining. Detailed plans including restaurant concepts and branding will be unveiled in the coming months.
