Aparium Hotel Group names Paul Devitt president/COO

Aparium Hotel Group, operator of independent, luxury lifestyle hotels across the U.S., has appointed Paul Devitt as president/COO and Dina Niekamp as SVP, brand and marketing.

Devitt joins the company following a 32-year tenure with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, where he most recently served as SVP, operations for the Americas. He led performance strategy across all segments of Hyatt’s business, including full-service managed hotels and a range of luxury, independent soft-branded and hard-branded properties.

He played a key role in the integration of Hyatt’s acquisition of Two Roads Hospitality, a move that expanded the company’s presence in the lifestyle category. He also played a key role in advancing Hyatt’s food and beverage strategy, helping to cultivate distinctive partnerships with emerging and locally celebrated chefs to create restaurant and bar experiences that felt thoughtful and rooted in community.

At Aparium, Devitt will oversee operational performance and team development across the growing portfolio.

Niekamp brings nearly 20 years of brand and marketing experience at the intersection of hospitality, lifestyle and wellness. She most recently served as associate VP, brand, marketing and sales atMiraval Resorts, where she helped elevate the brand’s global presence through integrated campaigns and creative commercial strategy. Her career also includes senior roles with including Kimpton, Virgin Hotels, Park Hyatt, Elysian and Four Seasons.

At Aparium, Niekamp will lead the evolution of the company’s brand and marketing platform toward a more consumer-centric model.
