NATIONAL REPORT—Angie Hospitality, Sonifi and Cvent have recently launched enhancements to the tech experiences they offer customers. Here’s a look:
Angie Hospitality Unveils Multilingual Functionality
Angie Hospitality has unveiled multilingual functionality to meet global demand for voice technology and to simplify international travel.
Guests and staff who desire to interact with Angie in Spanish, French, German or Chinese will now have access to its full suite of voice control and touch-screen features and solutions. These additional language capabilities ensure that guests have the ability to communicate and make requests using their preferred language without the need to learn English voice commands.
Language support for English, Spanish, French, German and Chinese offers greater access on a global scale to hoteliers looking for voice-controlled solutions for guestroom telephones, room automation, energy management, WiFi and more. Angie’s added multilingual solution integrates with leading hotel technology system providers, just as it does in English.
Sonifi Introduces Sora
Sonifi Solutions has introduced Sora, its next generation interactive platform for hospitality.
Designed as a visual complement to a guest’s overall stay, this smart, new platform adapts to the environment, guest content preferences and more. Compared to traditional TV or interactive platforms, Sora offers a more convenient, modern and intuitive interactive experience, the company reports.
The solution has a flexible platform that operates on and supports multiple in-room hardware options, including Google Chromecast, set-top-boxes and smart TVs. This innovation allows hoteliers to make the most of their existing technology investments and provides them the flexibility to right-size their hardware expense, according to the company.
In addition to foundational features such as an interactive program guide, video on demand and a hotel directory, incremental custom apps can also be enabled on Sora, such as hotel loyalty features or other branded and sponsored content.
