INTERNATIONAL REPORT—The hotel industry is seeing a number of technology partnerships. Among them, Airbnb and SiteMinder teaming up on third-party distribution. Let’s dig into the details.
Airbnb, SiteMinder Partner on Distribution
Airbnb has launched its global hotel technology partnership with SiteMinder, a cloud platform for hotels to attract and book guests across the globe.
Under the partnership, traditional hospitality businesses that use SiteMinder and meet Airbnb’s hospitality standards can quickly and seamlessly list rooms on the platform. The new technology developed jointly by the two companies will now make it possible for hotels to connect booking information to their existing management system in real-time.

Grupo Posadas Partners with Alice
Alice has been selected by Grupo Posadas S.A.B. de C.V., the largest hotel operator in Mexico, to power operations for its portfolio of 147 properties. This partnership is the largest client partnership for Alice to date, according to the company.
Rainmaker’s Hospitality Platform Powers Omni
The Rainmaker Group, a provider of cloud-based hospitality revenue and profit optimization software, has expanded its partnership with Omni Hotels & Resorts by transitioning them to the recently launched, next- generation of revcaster across the brand’s portfolio of properties, covering more than 20,000 rooms across 60 properties in North America.
OfferCraft to Integrate With Agilsys
Agilysys Inc. and OfferCraft have partnered to help hospitality venues increase revenue and guest satisfaction. As part of the new relationship, OfferCraft’s software is being integrated with Agilysys’ point-of-sale and property management solutions. The integrated solutions will be available later this year.
Dimension Development Selects UniFocus to Optimize Workforce Performance
Dimension Development Company is implementing UniFocus’ labor management system (LMS) for its diverse portfolio of hotels. After testing the software at a handful of properties, Dimension Development determined UniFocus was the right fit for its ability to scale to various types of operations.
