Aimbridge, Chesapeake Add to Their Portfolios

NATIONAL REPORT—Management companies Aimbridge Hospitality and Chesapeake Hospitality have added East Coast properties to their portfolios.

Aimbridge to Manage Marriott in Alpharetta, GA
Aimbridge Hospitality has been selected to manage the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta in Alpharetta, GA. The 318-key property is located in the Alpharetta technology corridor and features 19 North restaurant, 10,000 sq. ft. of recently renovated meeting space and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Chesapeake Hospitality to Manage Hotel Marcel
Chesapeake Hospitality will manage the 165-room Hotel Marcel, a redevelopment project currently underway in New Haven, CT. The historic rehabilitation and adaptive-reuse project is led by owner, developer and architect Bruce Becker, president of Becker + Becker Associates Inc. It is expected to be fully complete during the summer of 2021.

Vacant for 32 years, the building was designed by Marcel Breuer in 1967 as the Armstrong Rubber Company Building; it is presently known as the Pirelli Building. The completed hotel will have 165 rooms, a full-service restaurant and bar and 7,000 sq. ft. of gallery and meeting space. The Hotel Marcel will be a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property.
