A Trio of Openings Across the U.S.

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotels that recently opened across the U.S. include an Autograph Collection property in San Juan Capistrano, CA; a Tru by Hilton near the Orlando Convention Center; and a Hilton Garden Inn in the state of Washington.

Inn at the Mission San Juan Capistrano, Autograph Collection
Part of the Autograph Collection, the Inn at the Mission San Juan Capistrano has opened in Southern California. Located in the heart of historic downtown San Juan Capistrano, steps away from the ruins of Mission San Juan Capistrano, the hotel offers an outdoor patio overlooking the Great Stone Church, a resort-style pool and spa, more than 40,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space and multiple dining options.

Designed by Kay Lang + Associates, the property emulates old Spain with three types of architecture including Adobe, Monterey and Spanish Revival, and includes thick corbel ceiling beams and glass bells that represent a modern interpretation to the Mission’s bells, according to the property.

The hotel offers 125 hacienda-inspired guestrooms with seven luxury suites including three residential-style villas. Guestsrooms feature high ceilings, mission-style grand armories and chandeliers. The residential-style villas include 10-ft. transom ceilings, hardwood flooring, Spanish-style tiling and kitchenettes with a microwave, mini-fridge and sink.

The property includes more than 40,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor event space, and will offer the 2,500-sq.-ft. Spa at the Mission, which opens in January.

Tru by Hilton Orlando Convention Center
The 259-room Tru by Hilton Orlando Convention Center, owned by Epelboim Development Group and managed by Highgate, has opened in Orlando, FL. The new hotel is located near the Orange County Convention Center.

The hotel’s 2,880-sq.-ft. lobby includes a number of public areas, along with the 24/7 Eat. & Sip. market and App. and Tap. bar. The property also offers 2,200 sq, ft. of flexible meeting space, an outdoor heated pool and a fitness center, as well as technology features such as mobile check-in, digital key, free WiFi, remote printing, a social media wall and lobby tablets.

Hilton Garden Inn Redmond Town Center
The 177-room Hilton Garden Inn Redmond Town Center has opened in Redmond, WA. The Hotel Group manages the new property on behalf of Kauri Investments and Washington Holdings, and is THG’s sixth Hilton-branded hotel in the Puget Sound area.

Guestrooms at the six-story hotel include signature brand bedding, in-room Keurig coffee, miniature refrigerators and workstations. Other amenities include 9,000 sq. ft. of flexible meeting space and a 1,740-sq.-ft., 24-hour fitness center with a private area for yoga.
