My Place Opens in South Dakota
My Place Hotels of America’s 50th property has opened in Watertown, SD, marking the sixth My Place Hotel to open in the Mount Rushmore State.
My Place Watertown marks the first hotel to open with the newly redesigned Generation 2 (Gen 2) Guestroom. Unveiled at the 2019 My Place Convention in San Diego, the Gen 2 Guestroom is the largest upgrade to the My Place prototype. Highlights include major changes to the bathroom, with larger counter space and a back-lit mirror. The new design also offers updated room amenities such as upgraded furniture and modernized finishes.
The four-story, 63-unit hotel is near local attractions such as the Redlin Art Center, Bramble Park Zoo and Lake Kampeska. Watertown’s newest hotel is owned by Watertown Hotel LLC, and operated by Venerts Hotel Management Inc.
My Place Brings Second Hotel to Carson City, NV
My Place Hotels of America has opened in Carson City, NV—its second property in the Silver State. The city’s newest hotel was developed by Carson Hotel Group LLC.
The three-story, 64-unit hotel is located at the intersection of Arrowhead Dr. and North Carson St. at 17 Hospitality Way and is positioned to accommodate the diverse needs of a wide variety of travelers in the region who have long been underserved, according to the company.
My Place Debuts in Kansas
My Place Hotels of America has opened the brand’s newest location in Overland Park, KS.
Located off of I-69 at 8983 W 135th St., the opening of the three-story, 64-unit hotel also marks the brand’s 23rd state debut. My Place Overland Park is proximate to local attractions such as Blue Valley Recreation Sports Complex, St. Andrews Golf Club and Nottingham South Park.
The property was developed by Eller Enterprises and is managed by True Hospitality LLC.
