NATIONAL REPORT—A dual-brand rises in downtown Seattle, Found Hotels launches flagship in Chicago, and there’s more U.S. openings.

Even Hotel and Staybridge Suites Hotel South Lake Union

Noble Investment Group and InterContinental Hotels Group opened the Even Hotel and Staybridge Suites hotel in downtown Seattle. The hotels are adjacent to the Amazon headquarter campus and the new Google campus in the South Lake Union market of Seattle.

The 123-room Even Hotel Seattle – Downtown/South Lake Union offers an athletic studio with a mix of cardio, stretch and strength training equipment. Guestrooms include a fitness zone with dedicated workout space with in-room equipment, and guests can access 18 different in-room workout videos that range from 10-30 minutes.

For dining, Cork & Kale cafe offers made-to-order options for breakfast and dinner. There is also more than 2,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.

Also on-property, the 112-room, urban-style Staybridge Suites Seattle – Downtown/South Lake Union has a combination of studio and one-bedroom suites, as well as amenities including complimentary, daily hot breakfast buffet and evening reception, guest laundry and a 24-hour business center.

Found Chicago – River North

Found Hotels, in partnership with The h.wood Group and Hawkins Way Capital, opened Found Chicago – River North.

Found Chicago is the first of several from the brand set to debut in Boston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and additional cities this year and next year. Each hotel will offer an assortment of economical shared and traditional private accommodations and amenities that take distinctive cues from the locale, according to the company.

“This is our first venture into a shared-room hotel concept, appealing specifically to the aspirational traveler and Millennial nomad. We felt that this was lacking from a hospitality standpoint across the U.S. We are thrilled about our food and beverage lifestyle partnership with The h.wood Group and are proud to introduce this innovative endeavor to worldwide travelers,” said Lew Wolff, chairman of Found Hotels.

Wolff is the co-founder of the Maritz-Wolff hotel and resort firm, and formerly of Rosewood Hotels and Resorts and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts. He also served as chairman emeritus of the Oakland Athletics MLB team.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Noblesville Indianapolis Conference Center

In Noblesville, IN, the Embassy Suites by Hilton Noblesville Indianapolis Conference Center has opened.

Owned and managed by Sun Development and Management, the 198 all-suite property consists of three varying layouts. Design elements include granite countertops and wall architectural designs crowned by a mahogany ceiling and a custom atrium water feature on the first floor. In addition, there’s over 29,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Every suite has complimentary WiFi, a large HDTV, sofa bed, microwave, mini fridge, coffeemaker and ergonomic workspace.

Amenities also include a free made-to-order breakfast in the morning and complimentary drinks and appetizers daily at the evening reception as well as an on-property restaurant, The Local Kitchen and Tap.
