A Balanced Approach to Bathrooms

When it comes to a hotel bathroom, guests are looking for a spa-like experience—and that starts at the beginning, with the products and materials chosen to create the space. Here’s a few products designed to elevate the guest’s stay.

Stone Forest has introduced two new additions to its family of bathroom products: the Ventus Wall Hung Sink and the Bayonne Console Sink. A classic mix of marble, wood and metal, the Bayonne Console Sink is a contemporary take on a traditional favorite. The Ventus Wall Hung Sink, meanwhile, is a new integrated sink defined by its geometric shape translated into stone, contrasted with the industrial-inspired exposed hardware.

Stone Forest’s Ventus Wall Hung Sink

“Our Ventus Bath Sink is all about balance,” said Michael Zimber, CEO and founder, Stone Forest. “Strong geometric forms are at play but lightened by their thin profiles and the soft, subtle patterns of honed Antique Gray Limestone and Italian Carrara marble. On the other hand, our Bayonne Console is a nod to drama and elegance with its finely sculpted marble basin and tapered walnut legs.”

Franz Viegener’s Buzz

Meanwhile, Franz Viegener has debuts expanded versions of one of its most popular precision-engineered faucets—Buzz. The new widespread Buzz faucet features a well-defined, vaulting pyramid base that leans back ever so slightly and gracefully before it flares into a spout, while a square escutcheon further integrates geometric elements at its foundation. Buzz widespread is distinguished by its softly rounded line segments and distinctive rhomboid handles, all of which yield a singular, standout shape.

Simple and stylish, the Buzz wall-mount version also features a sculptural spout, but with a slightly larger base and an extensive reach that is ideal for spacious basins and vessel sinks. Coordinating geometric handles that are reinterpreted to a vertical plane, further lend a contemporary feel to the faucet while providing users with a unique tactile experience.

The Buzz faucet is constructed from solid brass. It’s available in eight finishes: polished nickel, polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black chrome, rose gold, polished gold, brushed gold and flat black.

“So many bath faucets have a static posture. The thought behind Buzz was to bring movement and fluidity to what is literally a ‘fixture’—so much like water itself, there is a flow and energy to the design of it,” said Josef Moskovic, chief designer, Franz Viegener.

Native Trails’ Solace Vanity

Native Trails’ Solace Vanity offers solid FSC-certified oak paired with a cool concrete to create a transitional bath vanity and mirror collection. Naomi Neilson, founder and CEO of Native Trails, said, “Combining different materials to add warmth and texture to more contemporary lines is big in bath design right now. The new Solace Vanity from Native Trails speaks to this—a piece that pairs concrete and sustainable oak to achieve an unexpected yet warm look.”
