Sierra Nevada Lodge recently reopened following a multimillion-dollar renovation.

LOS ANGELES—Sierra Nevada Lodge reopened after an extensive three-year, multimillion-dollar renovation that included improvements to the key guest accommodations, activity facilities and infrastructure of the resort.

As part of the refurbishment, six chalets and 15 fireplace suites were newly constructed. Each chalet is a spacious, bi-level townhouse.The three-bedroom chalets feature full kitchens with butcher-block countertops, wood burning fireplaces and 46-in. LCD HD televisions in each living room. The fireplace suites include a gas stone fireplace, resort-style kitchen complete with granite countertops and new bathrooms featuring large hand-hewn sink counters, waterfall showers and soaking tubs. 

The 149-unit resort offers 64 deluxe rooms, complete with pillow-top beds, sound-proof windows, flat-screen HD televisions, mini-refrigerators, in-room safes and new décor.

Additional hotel amenities include an on-site rental shop, complimentary airport shuttle service, sauna, laundry facility, conference room and pet-friendly room.

Three standalone restaurants are located adjacent to the property.

The resort is owned and operated by the Demetriades family.
