BALTIMORE, MD—Embassy Suites Hotels will open the Embassy Suites Baltimore Downtown here next May.
The 37-story, 300-room hotel will be the largest full-service, all-suites hotel in downtown Baltimore. It is being developed by a joint venture between Garrison Investment Group and The Chartres Lodging Group, and is managed by Kokua Hospitality, LLC.
The newly converted property is being called the Tremont Suites Hotel & Grand Historic Venue until its grand opening. It is located at 222 St. Paul Place and encompasses the Grand Historic Venue, which underwent a $27 million renovation in 2006. It has 45,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including 19 banquet rooms.
The hotel also will offer all of the amenities standard at an Embassy Suites hotel, such as free cooked-to-order breakfast; two-room suites with a separate living area; and a wet bar fitted with a microwave, minifridge and coffeemaker. It also will offer a Precor fitness center, Yoga Studio and a 24/7 business center.
